This is based on a sketch fromVicki Shepherd's class "A Little Goes a Long Way" I took at CK Des Moines. I used Tracy Reed's "Little Miss" papers and embellishments.

CK Des Moines

The Creating Keepsakes convention is in town and although I am a strictly digital scrapper, I participated in a crop, where I was one of two scrappers on laptops, and two classes taught by Vicki Shepherd from SimpliCraft.com. The classes were Beyond the Square and A Little Goes A Long Ways. I attempted to complete the paper layouts in the class, but kept thinking when told to "paste paper to circle and then cut excess off" how much easier it would be to draw my circle in Photoshop and then use "adhere" my patterned paper to the circle via a clipping mask. So what did I do? I came home and used the sketches from the class and created layouts digitally.

This layout I used Vicki's "Life's Great" sketch along with Queen of Quirk's "Give Freely" free kit. Queen of Quirk I think may become one of my new favorite designers, along with Paislee Press. These two corroborated on You Are Here.

This layout was based on Vicki's two-page spread at her Beyond the Square class. I used a page kit by One Little Bird called "The Real Us." I loved the browns, blues, and gold combination. I believe she sells her designs at Oscraps.com, but the site is down for emergency maintenance and I was unable to verify this.

June Update

Summer is here and I've been lousy of keeping this up-to-date. Have been working on genealogy and scrapping. Here are some of my recent layouts.
